ABOUT MR. BORA AKSU

British designer Bora Aksu first gained acclaim upon graduating from Central Saint Martins' MA program in 2002. His graduate show was hailed by The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, and The Independent as “one of the top five shows.” Since then, the brand has won the admiration of women and fashion insiders worldwide, with loyal followers including Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard, supermodel Coco Rocha, and actress Elle Fanning.

Throughout his career, Bora Aksu has developed a distinct design signature—romantic yet infused with a darker twist. His demi-couture pieces embody elegance, intrigue, and seduction. Handcrafted details, layered textures, muted colors, and voluminous silhouettes form the core DNA of BORA AKSU, resulting in a style that is romantic, youthful, modern, feminine, and fresh.

In 2003, his debut collection’s resounding success led The Guardian to name it “one of the top five shows.” That same year, Aksu received the New Generation Award, securing his place on the official London Fashion Week schedule the following season. He went on to earn a total of four consecutive New Generation Awards and remains a fixture at London Fashion Week.
